 What is Globalization

The increasing integration of economies and societies worldwide through the cross-border movement of four core elements such as people ,capital and goods as well as services (IMF Staf ,2008) This process, driven by technological advancements and policy changes. It enables labour mobility and cultural exchange while it promotes economic growth and innovation.

Artificial Intelligence is transforming the way globalization HRM. It improves workforce coordination across different countries. It also refine talent management approaches  and tackles issues related to scale and diversity regulations (Budhwar P, and Malik A , 2023).

AI streamlines international recruitment and performance management with candidate searches across platforms like LinkedIn and Glassdoor improving talent pool quality and diversity automating video interview analyses predicting turnover intentions (regulations (Budhwar P, and Malik A , 2023)

EU has emerged as a key actor in globalization while  leveraging its economic weight and regulatory influence to shape global trade dynamics while addressing internal challenges.

The EU is the world’s second-largest exporter of goods and top services trader (Sjöholm , F 2023)

Summary

Globalization enriches human resource management by opening doors to a wider talent pool and  promotes  diversity as well as boosts operational efficiency. It also facilitate the exchange of knowledge and it also introduces some challenges such as the need to address cultural differences and navigate complex legal frameworks, which require HR professionals to manage with skill and adaptability.
